1. The website, app and Apple licence
DOROBANTI NETWORK S.R.L. provides Instigator, its content and support. Full provider details and contacts appear on this page. The website provides information and support; it does not sell subscriptions or create game accounts.
The app uses Apple’s Standard EULA. These terms add game information and consumer disclosures without replacing it with a custom licence. Apple manages App Store transactions under its terms. For customers of Apple Distribution International Ltd., that company is the merchant of record for the App Store transaction; DOROBANTI NETWORK S.R.L. provides the app and content.
Describing the prepared version does not confirm public availability of the app or Instigator + products. Check the availability and actual conditions displayed by the App Store before buying.
2. For people aged 18 or older
Instigator is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older. Friends contains questions and challenges without adult content; Couples, Singles and Mixed may include adult humour, intimate topics and optional physical activities without graphic detail. Choosing Friends does not change the app’s intended age group. This use restriction is not age verification and does not replace the App Store’s displayed age rating.
Cards combine personal questions, dilemmas, imaginary situations, voting and optional activities. The game does not provide medical, psychological or relationship advice or determine what anyone must accept in real life.
3. Free play and Instigator +
Free play includes Friends, 3–5 players, a 10-point ending threshold and one pass per person. Optional Instigator + opens all four categories, 3–10 players, thresholds of 5/10/15/20 and 0–3 passes per person. Couples requires exactly 4, 6, 8 or 10 people with registered partners; Singles is for a group where everyone is single; Mixed accepts 3–10 people and relationships set before play.
The subscription belongs to the user buying it for the shared device. Each participant does not need a separate purchase. Instigator + does not include the provider’s other apps. There is no custom category or card editor.
A game keeps its starting access and options until it ends in memory; subscription changes apply to the next setup. There are no fixed turns, mandatory player rotation or displayed round count.
4. Price, payment and renewal
The prepared version proposes weekly and annual Instigator + plans with the same benefits, renewing automatically until cancelled. The annual total is billed upfront at the start of the period. There is no monthly plan. This website does not confirm public product availability or live prices.
Before confirmation, Apple’s purchase screen shows the total localized price, currency, duration and applicable conditions. Examples and test-environment prices are not commercial offers. In Romania, the weekly plan may offer three free days only when Apple confirms eligibility; the annual plan has no trial. The offer displayed by Apple applies. Apple collects payment and communicates price changes, requesting consent where required.
Restore an eligible purchase in the app with the Apple Account used to buy it, or open subscription management. Restoration checks an existing entitlement; it does not buy another subscription. A pending or unverified purchase does not grant confirmed access.
5. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
To stop renewal, use Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Instigator +, or subscription management in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation stops future payments without automatically refunding earlier payments. Access continues until Apple’s displayed expiry, except following a refund or revocation.
Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 generally provides a 14-day withdrawal right. For digital content without a tangible medium, losing that right after supply begins requires prior express consent, acknowledgement of losing the right and contract confirmation on a durable medium. Reading this website does not provide that consent.
Apple’s Romanian terms explain withdrawal within 14 days of receipt for eligible orders and the initial subscription. Follow Purchase History → the relevant order → Withdraw Transaction, or send the clear statement described in Apple’s terms. For other refund requests, use Apple’s Report a Problem service. These procedures preserve mandatory rights for lack of conformity.
6. Voluntary participation and consent
Each person separately decides whether to answer, attempt a challenge or continue playing. They may stop at any time without explaining why, regardless of points or passes. Accepting terms, joining the game, being someone’s partner or being selected by the bottle does not constitute consent to touching, kissing, clothing removal or other physical contact.
Every physical interaction requires the free, clear and current agreement of everyone involved. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Silence, group pressure and the absence of an objection are not consent. Someone unable to decide freely and understand what they are agreeing to cannot participate in that interaction.
Do not pressure, ridicule or threaten anyone for declining, spending a pass or leaving. Nobody needs to disclose intimate experiences, another person’s identity or private information to continue. The app records game choices without verifying consent or grading performances.
7. Imaginary situations and real activities
A dilemma or question framed as hypothetical requires only an answer. Choosing an option creates no additional challenge and does not mean agreeing to perform the described action. An imaginary conversation about a kiss, an open relationship or another intimate subject remains a verbal exercise, rather than an actual proposal or commitment.
Other cards suggest real, optional activities, such as singing, kissing or removing a piece of clothing within the limits below. They are not presented as exclusively hypothetical. No card obliges anyone to perform an actual sexual activity.
Respect couples starts enabled in Couples and Mixed: romantic tasks use registered attending partners or two single people. Someone whose partner is absent is not assigned another romantic counterpart. Disabling it before play allows any two distinct players to be selected. Factual partner questions and private predictions always use the registered pair. No setting or selection replaces individual consent. Do not involve people outside the game without their agreement.
8. Clothing challenge boundaries
Remove a piece of clothing means one item chosen by the participant, worn over other clothes and removable while keeping normal clothing on: for example, a jacket or hoodie over a T-shirt.
Removing or exposing underwear, nudity, exposing intimate body areas, undressing another person or cumulatively removing clothes across cards is not permitted. The item may be put back on at any time; it need not remain off until the end of the card or game.
You may decline the challenge for 2 points or use an available pass under the whole-card rule. Having no suitable item does not allow exceeding these limits or drawing a replacement card. Running out of passes never makes the activity compulsory.
9. Points and passes
Points are bad. For ordinary personal challenges and questions, answering or making a good-faith attempt gives zero; declining receives the displayed 1–3 points. In a shared challenge, a willing person receives zero refusal points even if the other declines. Other cards award points for a confirmed condition, a vote or a duel result; follow the card’s explanation.
On every card type, an eligible participant with a remaining pass may spend one before answering or after a result is known. The whole card immediately ends with zero points for everyone. Only that person’s pass is consumed; others need not answer or spend passes. Existing answers, selected results and established private choices stay fixed for that card.
Without an available pass, ordinary refusal and card scoring apply; there are no on-demand replacements, repeated draws or free skips. These rules never limit the right to stop. When the threshold is reached or exceeded after resolving a card, the highest score loses; tied highest totals share the loss. Ending early shows standings without declaring a threshold loser.
Points are solely a virtual score. They are not debts, fines, payment obligations, instructions to drink alcohol or permission to demand physical contact or another action.
10. Conduct and the group’s privacy
Do not use the game for illegal, dangerous or discriminatory activities, harassment or coercion. Choose a suitable setting and respect personal boundaries. Do not turn a challenge into a riskier activity to avoid points.
Do not photograph, record or publish other participants’ answers or interactions without their separate consent and compliance with the law. Participation grants no permission to distribute intimate information. The app conceals private answers when inactive but does not prevent deliberate screenshots or external cameras.
Gameplay happens locally on one device, without accounts, gameplay networking or developer session storage. Names, pairs, answers and scores stay in memory; the language preference and Apple-managed purchase evidence are separate. The privacy notice distinguishes the app, website and support correspondence.
11. Compatibility and intellectual property
The prepared version requires iOS 26.6 or iPadOS 26.6 or later and offers Romanian and English. Local play needs no internet; downloads, offers, purchasing, restoring and managing subscriptions may need access to Apple services. Closing the process does not preserve a game for later recovery.

Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable law determine permitted use. Copying, systematic extraction, modification, resale or redistribution require permission or a legal right; mandatory statutory exceptions remain available. Do not bypass payment, access controls or app protections or access other people’s devices without authorization.
12. Updates and mandatory rights
We provide conformity and security updates required by law, including during a subscription. Other changes may fix compatibility, meet legal requirements or improve content, without extra cost and with clear notice. More than a minor negative impact requires advance notice on a durable medium and termination rights under Romanian Ordinance no. 141/2021, including 30 days from notice or change, whichever is later, subject to statutory exceptions.
For lack of conformity, Ordinance no. 141/2021 provides free correction without significant inconvenience within a reasonable period agreed in writing, no longer than 15 calendar days. Where the law provides, you can seek a price reduction or termination. Owed refunds are made within 14 days of notice exercising the right, without fees. Provider contacts appear on this page.
Participants are responsible for their own actions; consent rules do not transfer the provider’s legal responsibility for its own acts or omissions to them. We do not exclude or limit liability where the law prohibits this, including for injury or death where applicable. These terms and Apple procedures do not remove mandatory guarantees, remedies or other rights.
Any final revised terms will identify their version and applicable date and be communicated as required by law. A website edit does not retroactively reduce mandatory rights or value already paid for.
13. Complaints and applicable law
For a problem, complaint or data request, use the provider contacts on this page. You may contact ANPC through its official service. Alternative dispute resolution (SAL) is optional for eligible disputes, has its own conditions and does not replace access to authorities or courts.
Romanian law applies without removing mandatory protections available to EU consumers under the law of their habitual residence. You may use the competent courts, including those where you live when the law permits. No compulsory arbitration or exclusive forum is imposed to restrict your rights.
